Hebrews 13:5 contains a promise from God. It says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” This is a verse that all of us should remember.
To me, these words are a promise directly from God; however, I do believe there is one key thing to remember. This one thing is that God promises this to us, but God also expects us to follow his lead. God knows what is best for us. If we can trust that, then we can always trust the things he has planned for us.
Sometimes our lives feel really bad, and this is often because we fail to listen to the Holy Spirit when it speaks to our hearts. If we hear this voice, we need to listen, and sometimes it is telling us to do something that is very uncomfortable for us to do, or something that is very hard. The truth is that if we would do what we are told to do, our lives would end up so much better. God has such great things in store for those that love him and follow him.
